For example, now that women have fewer children and the time they need to devote to child-rearing is less, should not women be encouraged to compete equally with men for jobs? It is accepted that men are more competitive than women, but the difference is weak and could be due to the fact that girls are trained to avoid competition with men as they fear they will appear less feminine.
